Malaysia Expected to Welcome Back More Inbound Travellers from China

According to Malaysia’s Ministry of Tourism’s target for international arrivals in 2023, with the extensive amount of effort put in place by the officials as well as a range of new promotional activities, Malaysia is hoping to become the holiday destination of choice for holidaymakers from China, other Asian countries and beyond.

“Last year we had 3.1 million foreign tourists, we hope that this year we can get at least five million or six million,” said Malaysia’s new Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing who personally welcomed foreign travellers arriving from China at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) recently.
